What you’ll do:
The ideal candidate will be excited about being a foundational member of the team designing and building the backend system of data pipelines and data infrastructure that will support the development of our innovative AI software. If you’re passionate about data engineering, AI, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you.
- Work with the founders and team to develop and build data storage, including databases and data warehousing
- Design and implement data pipelines for information retrieval, data processing, and data transformation
- Collect and curate large text and audio datasets
- Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of the data infrastructure
- Work with the entire team to ensure the highest level of product quality
- Create and maintain software documentation and contribute to a high velocity team culture
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience building highly scalable software
- Database experience with NoSQL, MongoDB, cockroachDB or similar
- Experience with stream processing, live analytics, data processing, normalization
- Strong cloud experience in AWS or GCP
- Strong in Python or Node
- Team first player in a dynamic, autonomous, cross-functional agile team that inspires others
Bonus Points: If you don’t like managers and have a bias for action and like to solve difficult problems. All poetry should be written in code.
